As a cyber security professional, I get my inspiration from the ever changing technology industry. If it’s new and cutting edge, I want to learn about it and apply my knowledge to it.

I currently work for VisualEdge IT as a Security Engineer and vCISO for multiple customers.

I was previously employed as a Systems Architect for an MSP in Abilene, TX.

Information technology excellence is always at the forefront of my mind. My overriding goal is to ensure that our organizational systems maintain the highest level of availability and reliability as well as building security into implementation. 

Previously, I worked as the Systems Administrator for the City of Abilene, TX. Managing and maintaining directory systems and virtual environments. I strived to make sure that the city is able to continue to meet its missions and goals.

Before that, as IT Coordinator at the Plains Independent School District, for 10 years. In that capacity, I wrote instructional and troubleshooting documents as well as installing and performing server and desktop maintenance, and filled the role of technical trainer. I provided leadership and direction for my district. From technology planning, research, procurement, implementation to ongoing, long-term maintenance.
